The Louisiana Community Betterment sponsored a “Winner Takes All” raffle during the open

day of the Louisiana Bi-Centennial celebration on Saturday, June 30th.

 

“We had a great show of support,” said Diana Huckstep, Chairperson for the LCBA. “Finding creative ways to raise

funds to further the work of any organization is always a challenge and this was so much fun,” stated Huckstep.

 

Raffle tickets were $5.00 dollars each and all funds raised will go toward the purchase of new decorations for the Georgia Street corridor and Third St. Louisiana Community Betterment Association wishes to thank everyone who helped with the raffle and especially everyone who purchased a raffle ticket.

 

The lucky winner of the raffle was Tom Wallace of Louisiana. “Tom was so surprised when he

received the call that he had won,” stated Huckstep
