Free help is available to people who’ve lost their jobs due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Job skills information is being offered through all 12 NECAC County Service Centers in Northeast Missouri.
While the facilities are open, doors are locked to limit traffic. So, people interested in job skills should call to have information sent electronically or through the mail.
The classwork includes information about writing a resume, preparing for an interview and standing out among a crowd of applicants. In addition, skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, time management, use of technology and employee responsibility are discussed.
You can call a NECAC Service Center or the agency’s Community Services Department at 573-324-6633.
