CLARKSVILLE, Mo – There’s still time to enter works in the 51st Annual Raintree Arts Council Art Exhibit and Judged Competition.
The event is being held in conjunction with Clarksville Applefest Oct. 11 and 12 at The Apple Shed along Highway 79.
Adults ages 18 and older may submit items in the professional or amateur categories at The Apple Shed from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, or 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9.
All works must be original and other rules apply. Professional is described as people who make at least 50 percent of their income from art, have a degree in art or have exhibited in a professional art show. Prizes will be awarded in the adult and youth divisions.
Pick up is Sunday, Oct. 12, by 4 p.m. Raintree is not responsible for items taken without being checked out or those left after 4 p.m., and is not responsible for loss or damage. The show will be enclosed and locked each night.
This year’s event is dedicated to the late Louisiana artist Jon Moran, who spent more than two decades assisting with the show.
