The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce will celebrate successes at its annual banquet.
The event is April 10 at Gatherings at 601, Sixth and Georgia. Social hour is at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6 by Keely Catering and Events.
Tickets are $40 each, with a table of eight for $280. They may be purchased by calling the chamber at 573-253-5201 or inquiring at info@louisianamochamer.com.
Executive Director Brook Patterson said the evening will be a mix of business and fun while showcasing businesses and people who serve as the “backbone” of Louisiana.
“The Chamber of Commerce continues to champion growth and collaboration, ensuring a prosperous future for all,” she said. “Over the past year, our local businesses have demonstrated incredible hard work, resilience and collaboration, proving that success is strongest when we move forward together. Their dedication not only drives our economy, but also strengthens the heart of our community.”
The 2025 board of directors will be installed, and the Business Member of the Year and Citizen of the Year awards will be announced.
“We will proudly honor our Citizen of the Year and Business Member of the Year – two outstanding examples of dedication, leadership and service,” Patterson said. “Their commitment to our community embodies the spirit of excellence and inspires us all to continue making a difference.”
A silent auction will feature items such as an electric cooler donated by Pepsi, a one-night stay at The Eagle’s Nest donated by Peoples Bank & Trust, hanging hammock chairs from Huckstep Forms and a two-hour venue rental from The Keely Center.
In addition, there will be quick raffles, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. “Years Past” memorabilia will be available for purchase. Ticket sales will be launched for the Great Mississippi River Duck Race at the 2025 Colorfest in October. The event is sponsored by Two Rivers Marina & Boat Club.
Master Illusionist Keith Jozsef of St. Louis returns for magic during the social hour and a show after dinner. Music will again be provided by MizzOkie Entertainment of Louisiana.
The meal consists of smothered chicken with mushrooms and spinach, three types of salads, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls and four desserts.
The venue sponsor is Cindy Blaylock Insurance, with other sponsors including Peoples Bank & Trust, Bowood Farms, Pepsi, Huckstep Forms, Denton Cookie Company, Ayerco, Fourth Street Event Center, TTR Handyman Services, Stark Brothers Nurseries and Pike County Memorial Hospital.
