Louisiana Community Betterment Assoc. is encouraging residents to help make the community “sparkle” for the upcoming Holidays by participating in the Residential Home Decorating Contest  Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st., 2nd., and 3rd., place winners.

Judging will take place during the time frame of December 13th through the 15th.  Winners will be announced December 16th. Each winner will be notified and check presentations will take place.

“We love sponsoring this contest for our community,” said Diana Huckstep, LCBA Chairperson.  “Whether you are 1 or 100,everyone enjoys driving around the community and looking at all the Christmas Decorations.  We hope that by sponsoring the contest, it just helps to encourage more folks to dress the community for the Holidays,” said Huckstep.

LCBA utilizes 3 judges from different communities to drive around the Louisiana community and view the decorations.  “We encourage everyone who decorates to send an email to Lmocombtrmt@yahoo.com and furnish their address. Those addresses will be passed onto the judges so that homes are included in the judging process,” said Huckstep.
