BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — Tickets are on sale for the Fourth Annual Champ Clark Honey Shuck Roast Oct. 5 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in St. Clement.

The honored guest will be Talley Saucier. A reception is at 5:30, with a brief skit taking place at 6:30 before the meal is served. After dinner, several of Talley’s friends and family will offer good-natured ribbing. There will also be an auction of items.

Tickets are $37.50 each or two for $75. A table of eight is available for $350. Purchases may be made by calling Larry Twellman at 573-470-6007, Paulette Bruch at 573-470-0491 or Glen Leverenz at 573-470-4075.

The deadline for ticket purchases is Sept. 25.

“Talley has been very active in the community and in her church,” Twellman said. “Talley realizes that she’s been blessed with a lot of friends and we invite you to attend the Roast to honor her and to enjoy a laugh or two.”

Proceeds will help with the operation of Honey Shuck, Champ Clark’s Bowling Green home. It is maintained by Champ Clark Honey Shuck Restoration Inc., which sponsors activities and tours throughout the year.
