LOUISIANA, Mo. — The Louisiana Community Betterment Association is proud to announce the installation of 6 new benches along the downtown Georgia Street corridor.  Funds raised from the last two years of Holiday Home Tours went to the purchase of these beautiful new benches.

“We are so happy to be able to give back to this wonderful community and enhance the appearance of our downtown district,” stated Diana Huckstep, LCBA Chairperson.  “Each member of our committee works long hours every year on each project that is sponsored by LCBA, and the Holiday Home Tour is one of our biggest events.  We are pleased with the participation and we wish to thank everyone who has supported our efforts by taking the Home Tours.  We have a wonderful time sponsoring this event and it helped us raise the funds needed to purchase these new benches,” stated Huckstep.

It is the hope of LCBA to continue to raise funds to purchase additional benches to be placed along Georgia Street in the future.
