PIKE COUNTY, Mo. — The North East Community Action Corporation is seeking donations of school supplies and cash to purchase additional items for Pike County students.

“As the school year approaches, we want to help teachers not have to worry about providing enough supplies,” said NECAC Pike County Service Coordinator Penny Dixon. “This will lift some of the burden put onto our educators when children need items throughout the year. We don’t want them to be forced to use their own money to buy supplies.”

Donations will be split equally among Bowling Green, Louisiana, Clopton, BONCL, St. Clement and Pike County Christian School.

Contributions may be sent or dropped off at the NECAC Pike County Service Center, 805 Business Highway 61, Bowling Green, Mo., 63334. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays. Questions may be directed to Dixon at 573-324-2207.
