Four-year-old Leona Franzen shows her father, Don, some dance moves during Raintree Arts Council’s 22nd annual Encore fund-raising concert April 6 at The Apple Shed in Clarksville. More than 200 people enjoyed a night of dinner, dancing, a silent auction, contests and country music classics sung by area performers Beverly and Charles Cogar, Tom Wallace, Angela Maier, Mindy Webert, Richard Biggs, Kaitlyn Felder, Alyssa Niemeyer, Calvin Colbert, Judi Bruce, Donna Grote, Jessica Harding and Debbie Ingram. Songs included such favorites as “King of the Road,” “Kiss An Angel Good Morning,” “You Ain’t Woman Enough,” “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” “Jolene,” “Stand By Your Man,” “Elvira,” “Take This Job and Shove It,” “Okie From Muskogee,” “Mountain Music,” “Crazy” and “I Never Promised You a Rose Garden.” In the men’s category, Walt Crew was named best dressed and Donald Ringling won the cattle call contest. For the women, it was Beverly Anderson and Helen Moellering, respectively. Raintree provides arts and entertainment throughout the year in Pike and Lincoln counties.
