The South Shelby meet is a nonmedal meet and they are hoping to have a few kids in different events. This will be practice for future meets. The other two meets are medal meets and they are hoping to come back home with many wins. A few other athletes have a chance at breaking school records this season. Alex Dzierwa has a good shot at the 300m hurdle record. Jamal Blackwell is another athlete who could break the high jump record and the 110m hurdles record. The boys 4x100m hurdles also has a chance of breaking the school record this season. With many more meets to go this season, it can be expected for a couple more school records to be broken and set this year.Fallert says about the season, “I think with our early success we expect big things. I think the boys
are expecting a top four finish in the state this year. Girls wise, we should compete very well at state too.”With many athletes who competed at state this last season, it is expected many will compete again.
