LOUISIANA, Mo.– FFA week is officially here! Louisiana FFA celebrates the week with dress-up days, Teacher CDE’s, and many more events. Here is just a little preview of what is coming this week.
The officer team has been working hard in preparation for this week. Tuesday’s dress-up day is John Deere Day. Students are tasked to put on their bibs and dress like a farmers or wear green. Wednesday is Hillbilly vs. Cowboy Day. Many students are excited to put on their cowboy boots and hats. Thursday is Gone Huntin’ Day. Students are encouraged to wear orange and put on camo. Wrapping the week up is FFA Friday. After a long week, students celebrate FFA by wearing FFA merch and blue and gold. All of the students and faculty are encouraged to participate. It does not matter if you are in FFA, you can still dress up and support. Another favorite here at LHS is the Teacher CDE’s. The teachers all get the chance to answer questions put together by the FFA. The totals get combined and the top three teachers at the end of the week get a prize.
The FFA officers also host a Rotary Lunch informing the Rotary members about what is going on in our chapter. This has become a tradition and the officers are excited to inform the community. Happy National FFA Week from the Louisiana FFA Chapter!
