LOUISIANA, Mo. — The Louisiana area Historical Museum will host a fall raffle and a “Stump the Prez” contest during Colorfest Oct. 21 and 22.

   On both days, raffle tickets will be sold. Prizes are a $250 gift certificate for a meat bundle, a $50 gasoline gift card and a Mo Mo the Missouri Monster t-shirt. The museum hopes to announce a winner in the coming weeks or during the Louisiana Christmas Parade Nov. 25.

   The museum will have a booth at 304 Georgia during Colorfest and free tours of the facility will be available. Mo Mo t-shirts also will be sold.  

   On Saturday, people are encouraged to stop by and ask museum president Brent Engel a question about American presidents. No obscure data, please.

   Those who stump him will be entered to win a copy of his book “They Call Us Pikers.” One book will be given away each hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
