LOUISIANA, Mo. — Louisiana Community Betterment Assoc. and the City of Louisiana are once again sponsoring the annual National Night Out for 2023. The event will take place, Saturday, August 5, 2023 beginning at 5:00 p.m. and last until 8:00 p.m.
National Night Out is an annual community building campaign that promotes Police-Community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It also provides a positive opportunity to bring police and community together.
Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across the thousands of communities from all 50 states, U.S. Territories and Military bases worldwide. Louisiana neighborhoods can choose to host block parties, festivals or any type of wholesome neighbor building activity.
One representative from each block party or event must call Louisiana City Hall at 573-754-4132 to register their event. This enables the Police Dept. to have a list of all events and gives them the opportunity to visit each event to get to know the people of that area.
Louisiana Community Betterment Assoc. and the Louisiana Police Department are encouraging all neighborhoods to host an event for that evening and make this the biggest celebration ever!
