LOUISIANA, Mo. — With the end of school starting to near for everyone, the days are limited for seniors at Louisiana High School. As they begin to pack up their lockers, finish finals and say goodbye to everyone, the memories start to rush back.
Everyone says high school will fly by, and as a freshman in high school that can be extremely hard to believe. You may think to yourself four years is a long time and you are looking forward to those years flying by. Now as the Seniors are about to walk across that stage Friday night and get their high school diploma, they realize time really is limited. Being in a small town like Louisiana, you graduate with many of the same kids you were in preschool and kindergarten with. Lifelong friendships and memories were made these past 14 years and it abruptly comes to an end. You realize this will be the last time you may see these fellow classmates, these teachers, and walk down the halls at LHS. These next few years may seem scary for life after high school, but the class of 2023 is ready to take on the world.
If you want to see the Louisiana Class of 2023 walk across the stage and receive a diploma for all of their hard work, graduation is on Friday, May 13. It will be in the High School gymnasium and starts at 7 pm.
