BARRY, Il.– Western softball standout Skylar Bainter signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa.

Bainter has been a phenomenal asset to the Western Wildcats softball program over the last four seasons. Her coaches have described Bainter as someone who leads by example and takes younger athletes under her wing. Her efforts on the field and in the classroom have demonstrated what it means to be a student-athlete.

Bainter will begin classes at Briar Cliff University in Fall 2o23 and she plans to enroll in their nursing program. Congratulations, Skylar!
