
WELLSVILLE, Mo.– The Bowling Green Bobcats travel to Wellsville-Middletown and will take on the Tigers.
The Bobcats head into the contest with a 7-9 record, after they dropped their last game against the Wright City Wildcats 7-3. The Tigers head into the game with a 7-4 record, after they fell to the Montgomery County Wildcats in their last contest 15-0. Bowling Green has a two-game winning streak going against Wellsville, with their last loss coming back in 2019, where the Bobcats dropped a game to the Tigers, 6-5. Bowling Green looks to continue this streak, as well as get back in the win column.
The Bobcats score an average of five runs per game, while they allow six runs per game to their opponents. The Tigers score an average of three runs per game, while they give up six runs per game to the opposing team. Bowling Green and Wellsville have both lost to the Elsberry Indians, Montgomery County Wildcats, and the North Callaway Thunderbirds. Bowling Green was able to defeat the Louisiana Bulldogs 9-0 while Wellsville only got the win with a 2-0 score. The Bobcats beat the Mark Twain Tigers and the Van-Far Indians by the mercy rule, but the Tigers barely sneaked past both teams.
