
BOWLING GREEN, M0.– The Bowling Green Bobcats welcome in the Wright City Wildcats for an EMO Conference showdown.
The Bobcats head into the contest with a 7-8 record, after they defeated the Silex Owls and Van-Far Indians and lost to the Macon Tigers last week. The Wildcats head into the game with a 7-6 record, after they defeated the Mark Twain Tigers and the Van-Far Indians and dropped a tough game to the Elsberry Indians. Bowling Green took the loss in the last game that these two teams played. Wright City was able to defeat the Bobcats in the first round of the Class Four District Six Tournament, 7-6, which propelled the Wildcats to a win over Lutheran St. Charles in the second round. The Wildcats would eventually lose in the championship game to the St. Charles West Warriors.
Bowling Green scores an average of six runs per game, while they allow six runs per contest to the opposing team. Wright City scores an average of nine runs per game, while they give up six runs per game to their opponents. The Bobcats and Wildcats split the games they played last season, 1-1, but the Wildcats won the more important game. Bowling Green will be looking for revenge for the loss in the district tournament last season.
