KJFM SPORTS — On Monday the Clopton Hawks performed in two sporting events. A track meet at Montgomery County, as well as a golf meet at Elsberry High School. 

At the track meet, Bailey Baker got fourth place in the discus, with a distance of  97 feet. Additionally, Hunter Burt placed fourth in the 400-meter dash, with a time of 56.1 seconds. Stacia Talbert also placed in the 400-meter dash, with a time of 1:08, she got sixth place. 

At the golf meet, everyone on the team played great, however, there were 20 other teams there, so the competition was tough. Even in tough windy conditions the Hawks were able to play at their best, keep up a positive mentality, and uphold good sportsmanship.
