
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo.– The Bowling Green Bobcats begin a five-game road trip, as they face the Montgomery County Wildcats in an EMO Conference showdown.
Bowling Green fell to the Winfield Warriors 9-4 on Monday night, after going 2-1 last week against Palmyra, North Callaway, and Mark Twain. Montgomery County is coming off a blowout loss to the Macon Tigers, 10-0. When these two teams faced off last season, the Bobcats got the best of the Wildcats, 2-1 in Bowling Green. The Bobcats are looking to rebound after the loss to the Warriors, and the Wildcats are looking to move past the loss to the Tigers.
The Bobcats are 4-6 on the season. Bowling Green’s offense has been lackluster this season, as they only score an average of five runs per game, while they allow seven runs per game to their opponents. The Wildcats are 4-2 this season. Montgomery County averages five runs on the scoreboard as well, while they give up just four runs to their opponents.
