One bright spot for Pleasant Hill/Western was a single by Blane Miller in the second inning.
Mitchell Meier was the winning pitcher for Camp Point Central. The ace went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out nine. Tanner Kindhart threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Jaxen White took the loss for the Wild Wolves. The righty allowed seven hits and nine runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four.
Carter Eyler started the game for Camp Point Central. The bulldog surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one inning, striking out two and walking one
Miller and Tyler Van Dyne each managed one hit to lead Pleasant Hill/Western.
Camp Point Central racked up ten hits on the day. Jack Thompson, Meier, and Conner Griffin each had multiple hits for the Panthers. Camp Point Central tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Griffin led the way with three.
