
KJFM SPORTS — Pleasant Hill/Western Wild Wolves watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 13-2 loss to Brown County on Tuesday. Brown County scored on a single by Fullerton, a double by Carr, a double by Montgomry, and a groundout by Behymher in the first inning.
The Pleasant Hill/Western struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing the Hornets, giving up 13 runs.
In the first inning, Brown County got their offense started when Fullerton singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Wort earned the win for Brown County. The fireballer allowed seven hits and one run over five innings, striking out eight and walking one. Miller threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Aaron Vincent took the loss for the Wild Wolves. The pitcher surrendered five runs on four hits, walking zero.
