BOWLING GREEN, Mo.– The Bowling Green Bobcats welcome in the rival Louisiana Bulldogs, as they face off in yet another cat and dog fight, with an EMO Conference win on the line.
The Bobcats have not taken a loss against the Bulldogs since 2011, as Bowling Green has a ten-game winning streak against Louisiana and will look to continue that streak tonight with a win.
The Bobcats head into the contest with a 1-1 record on the season, as they defeated the Centralia Panthers to claim their first win of the season. The Bulldogs come into the showdown with a 0-1 record, as they fell 8-6 to the Silex Owls. The Bobcats score an average of six runs per game, while they allow 11 runs on the defensive side of the ball. The Bulldogs score around six runs per game as well, as they give up eight runs to their opponents. Bowling Green will turn to senior Alex Miller, to take the mound tonight and deal against the Bulldogs as he did the last time these two teams squared off.
Be sure to come out and support the Bobcats, as they take on the Bulldogs in an EMO Conference showdown.
