
BOWLING GREEN, Mo.– The Bowling Green Bobcats welcome in the Centralia Panthers for a game of America’s favorite pastime.
Bowling Green is looking to bounce back from the blowout loss to the Hallsville Indians. Centralia is also looking to bounce back, as they fell to the South Callaway Bulldogs, 11-1. The game between the Bobcats and the Panthers was postponed last season due to poor weather conditions. Centralia was not able to make the trip down to the Hannibal Jamboree , so the teams were unable to face off at that venue. The last time Bowling Green and Centralia faced off, the Bobcats took the loss, 11-7. Bowling Green looks to get their first win against the Panthers since they defeated Centralia in the 2018 Class Three District Seven Tournament,
The Bobcats head into the contest with a 0-1 record, as the Panthers also head into the game with a 0-1 record on the season. Bowling Green scores an average of eight runs a game, while they allow a whopping 20 runs per game. Centralia puts around one run on the board per contest, while they allow eleven runs per game to their opponents. Both teams are looking for their first win of the 2023 campaign.
