
LOUISIANA, Mo. — Daniel McRath of Imaginary Theatre Company of St. Louis performs the lead role Feb. 14 in “James and the Giant Peach” at Louisiana Middle School. Students from the elementary school also attended. The production, based upon the 1961 book by Roald Dahl, focuses upon a lonely orphan who finds adventure inside a magical peach. The performance also included actors Giac Noelle, Christina Yancy, Janna Linae, Thomas Patrick Riley and Mo Moellering. Dahl dedicated the book to his six-year-old daughter, Olivia, who died of measles. Raintree Arts Council sponsored Imaginary Theatre’s visit.
