FULTON, Mo.– The Bowling Green Lady Cats traveled down to Fulton, to take on the Lady Hornets in a rematch from the Montgomery County Invitational.
The Lady Cats Junior Varsity team faced the Lady Hornets JV team, for the first game of the night. Bowling Green came out on top, 25-17, as they snap their five-game losing streak, with their last win coming on January 11, against the Van-Far Lady Indians. The Lady Hornets dropped their third straight game, as their record falls to 2-12. The Lady Cats now have a record of 4-9, with their next game being against the Elsberry Lady Indians.
The Lady Cats Varsity team fell to the Lady Hornets, 41-38. The Lady Cats defeated the Lady Hornets in the Montgomery County Tournament, but the Lady Hornets got the best of them on their home court. The loss brings Bowling Green’s record to 8-11. The win gives the Lady Hornets a record of 6-14. The next game for the Bowling Green Lady Cats will be against the Monroe City Lady Panthers.
