
BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — The Bowling Green Lady Cats head into the second round of the Bowling Green tournament against the Louisiana Lady Bulldogs.
The seven seeded Lady Cats are set to face the six seeded Lady Bulldogs in the losers bracket. Bowling Green fell to the two seeded Winfield Lady Warriors in the first round for the second consecutive year. Louisiana was defeated by the three seeded Silex Lady Owls. The last time that the Lady Cats and Lady Bulldogs faced off, the dogs got the best of the cats, as Louisiana came away with a narrow victory over Bowling Green, 57-56.
Bowling Green heads into the contest with a 7-9 record, while Louisiana sits at an even 9-9 on the season. The Lady Cats have won four games on their home floor, while the Lady Bulldogs have won four games away from their home court. Bowling Green averages around 45 points per game on offense, while they allow 42 points per game on the defensive side of the ball. Louisiana scores 43 points per game, while they allow 43 points per game to their opponents.
