LOUISIANA, Mo. — Each year the Louisiana Community Betterment Assoc. sponsors a decorating contest for residents and business windows within the Louisiana area.  This year, the LCBA was pleased to announce the following winners in both categories.

For Residential:

1st. Place: 1000 Georgia Street

2nd. Place: 210 Mary’s Drive

3rd. Place: 2321 Oak Drive

For Business Windows:

1st. Place: Fitz’s Barber Shop

2nd. Place: Hop’s Restaurant

3rd. Place: Beth White Insurance

Many volunteer hours went into the decorating of some of the downtown business windows and many thanks go to Carmen York and Viki Cadwallader who stepped forward to organize that effort.  “They were an invaluable help to LCBA in lighting up our downtown business area for the enjoyment of so many,” stated Diana Huckstep, LCBA Chairperson.  “Our committee looks forward to working with them and so many others who contributed this year to make Christmas in Louisiana sparkle!  It truly is about team work.” said Huckstep.  Winners will be notified and a check presentation will take place for all the winners.
