SILEX, Mo. — Congratulations to Silex junior Kyliegh Graddy for being nominated by Cheerleading Coach Lindsey Berhorst and being selected to represent Silex High School at CheerHawaii USA 2023!
“I am incredibly proud of Kyliegh. She is a great leader and I am excited to see the new skills and techniques she is going to bring back to the rest of the squad,” said Coach Lindsey Berhorst.
Kyliegh will experience an educational, fun-filled 8 days in Hawaii where she will have opportunities that very few cheerleaders ever get to experience. She will be working with top collegiate cheerleading coaches & will be attending leadership & personal development workshops to improve her cheer, dance & stunting skills. She will also be able to visit attractions like Pearl Harbor & the Polynesian Cultural Center. The camp will run June 21 – 28, 2023 at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. “I am thankful for Ms. B & the guidance she has given our squad & for nominating me. I am super excited & am looking forward to experience this amazing opportunity to represent Silex High School & bring back new skills to our cheerleading squad for next season,” said Kyliegh.
Kyliegh will be fundraising over the next several months to pay for this once in a lifetime opportunity. She is the daughter of Kyle & Rochell Graddy of Silex.
