
BOWLING GREEN, MO- It’s a battle of the predator cats, as the Bowling Green Bobcats host the Wright City Wildcats in week eight.
The Bobcats are coming off a 70-point win over the Mark Twain Tigers, 76-6. The Wildcats are coming off a loss to the North Callaway Thunderbirds 32-13. Bowling has been limiting teams to a minimal seven points a game, while being able to put over 70 points on the board each game. While the Wildcats have been holding teams off for more one-score, or two-score games.
Some common opponents that the Bobcats and Wildcats have played are the Montgomery County Wildcats, Wright City fell to Montgomery County 36-14, while the Bobcats defeated MOCO for homecoming 74-0. The Wildcats had also given up 28 points to the Van-Far Indians, and the Bobcats had only given up six points to the Indians, the JV team for the Bobcats was on the field when the six were scored.
Bowling Green defeated Wright City in 2020 with a score of 54-0 after losing the previous matchup in 2019 with a score of 6-0.
