CLARKSVILLE, Mo. — While serving as State Representative for District 40 in Missouri, Jim was faithful in his attention to the City of Clarksville. He was present for most celebrations and City activities and often brought greeting from Jefferson City, supporting the tenacity of Clarksville in the efforts to reestablish and rebuild following the ravages of numerous flooding events.
Jim brought congratulations and a Resolution from the State as Clarksville celebrated the 2017 Bi-Centennial. He often called just to inquire about the progress of city projects and quite frequently came in person to visit and assure Clarksville of his interest and willingness to be of assistance however possible. He was quick to respond to a request to find the State Official who could direct attention to needs of Clarksville. He spoke from the floor in favor of Clarksville projects and sought the specific officials to secure necessary support for those projects.
Representative Hansen never failed to be in touch with and stay informed about the City of Clarksville. Clarksville was blessed to have the representation of this man during his years of service.
