
CLARKSVILLE, Mo. — Cornet Chop Suey entertained more than 120 people during a Raintree Arts Council concert Sept. 24 at the Apple Shed in Clarksville. The St. Louis-based band, which says it enjoys performing at the venue each year, offered such songs as “Pink Champagne,” “I Wanna Be Just Like You,” “Lucky So and So,” “St. Louis Blues,” “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing),” “Tenderly,” “St. James Infirmary,” a “Star Wars” medley and “What a Wonderful World.” Opening acts were soloist Malia Richardson and the duet Tricia Luke and Hanna Blackmore.
