
PIKE COUNTY, Mo. – Bowling Green High School will have a familiar face at the helm next year with Scott Mullins retiring. The Bowling Green School Board recently announced Larry Lagemann, from the Clopton School District, has been approved to take over the position.
Lagemann currently serves as the Clopton Middle School and High School principal, a position he’s held for the past 16 years. Prior to his position as principal, Lagemann served as a teacher. Additionally, he has also coached both the boys and girls basketball teams.
Lagemann is a 1991 graduate of Clopton High School. He continued his education and basketball career at Culver-Stockton College, eventually moving on to Maryville University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts History degree. Following his graduation, he returned to his roots at the Clopton School District. Lagemann continued his education through the years gaining a Master of Arts in Education and Administration from Lindenwood University and an Educational Specialist from William Woods University.
The contract period for Lagemann will begin July 1, 2022. Scott Mullins announced his retirement earlier this year after 28 years in education.
