Illinois Department of Natural Resources Director's Hunt still accepting registration

ILLINOIS — The 2021 Director’s Hunt will take place Monday, Nov. 29 at 10:30 a.m. thru Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 12:00 p.m.

Join the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for a two-day controlled pheasant and qual hunt with IDNR Director, Colleen Callahan.

Due to a nationwide shotgun shell shortage, please bring your own steel shot non-toxic shells.

Field preference will be honored on a first come, first serve basis.

S C H E D U L E

Monday, November 29
10:30 am – Check in at Wayne Fitzgerrell State Park
12:00-1:00 pm – Lunch on site and safety briefing
1:30-4:00 pm – Hunt
5:00-6:00 pm – Cocktail hour at Elks Lodge
6:00-7:00 pm – Dinner
7:00-9:00 pm – Program, Raffles, Silent/Live Auctions

Tuesday, November 30
6-9:30 am – Complimentary Breakfast at Drury Inn
9:00-12:00 pm – Optional Second Hunt

Lodging will be at the Drury Inn, 145 N 44th St, Mt. Vernon, IL.

B A N Q U E T

The banquet dinner will be held at the Elks Lodge #819, 1107 Jordan St, Mt. Vernon, IL.
