MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. — The Bowling Green Lady Bobcat’s volleyball team entered the Class 3 District 7 tournament as the #4 seed and opened postseason against a team they’ve already beaten multiple times in the regular season, #5 North Callaway.

Bowling Green came out at the beginning of each set on fire getting the large lead. However, in a couple of the matches, North Callaway found a spark and went on short bursts to keep the game within reach. Their effort fell short as the Lady Cats won the game in three sets, 25-20, 25-10 and 25-14, to now face the #1 seed Hallsville Lady Indians, Monday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. Bowling Green improves their season record to 10-13.
