EAGLE 102 SPORTS – Twin Pike County Ryder Cup Best Ball play gets underway at Old Orchard Country Club in Pittsfield this Saturday morning at 8am. Tee times have been set for the day’s initial pairings of the 2nd annual competition between Pike County Country Club in Louisiana and Old Orchard.
The 2021 Old Orchard Country Club Twin Pike Ryder Cup team includes 2021 Club Champion Keenan Yelliot, along with Geoff Baker, Jason Buss, Nate Carlton, Chad Coburn, Dustin Jenkins, Clint McNulty, Trevor Miller, Shawn O’Brien, Scott Riley, Cory Roseberry, Jimmy Sanderson, Ryan Stauffer, Drew Webel, Mike Webel, and Garrett White.
The 2021 Pike County Country Club Twin Pike Ryder Cup team includes 2021 Club Champion Jordan Anderson, along with Jason Asquith, Dalton Branstetter, Brayden Buffington, Tyler Burgett, Coleman Chamberlain, Brad Feldewerth, Darren Feldewerth, Hunter Feldewerth, Neil Feldewerth, Jared Henderson, Jamie Jordan, Tim Jordan, Greg Pitzer, Kyle Scherder, and Don Willis.
The 36 holes that will be played Saturday, September 25th and Sunday, September 26th. 12 Ryder Cup points will be available on Saturday at Old Orchard Country Club when the field of 32 golfers, 16 per team, pair off for 18 holes of best ball in the morning (8 points available), followed by 8 golfers being selected to pair off from each team to play 18 holes of alternating shots (4 points available). On Sunday at Pike County Country Club, all 16 players from each team will compete against opponents identified during a strategy-based Saturday evening selection process. Winners will claim a point for their team and ties will be awarded a half point. The team with the highest point total will claim the title of Twin Pike Ryder Cup Champion.
The event is open to the public both days and Sunday the Pike County Country Club will also be celebrating their 100th anniversary.
