PIKE COUNTY, Mo. — Time is running out to apply for a utility assistance program in 12 Missouri counties.

The Energy Crisis Intervention Program can help pay the bills of people who’ve received a utility shut-off notice. The deadline is September 30th.

The North East Community Action Corporation is taking applications. The agency still has more than $1 million in funding available.
