
KJFM SPORTS — Megan Graver had all the right stuff on Wednesday for Bowling Green Lady Bobcats, allowing zero runs and besting Lutheran by a score of 18-0.
The Lady Cats got things started in the first inning when Kennedy Grimsley drew a walk, scoring one run.
One bright spot for Lutheran was a double by Reed in the first inning.
Graver was the winning pitcher for Bowling Green. The righty surrendered zero runs on one hit over four and two-thirds innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.
Reed took the loss for Lutheran. The bulldog lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing two hits and seven runs while striking out one.
The Lady Bobcats scattered 12 hits in the game. Tanner Turner, Kaelynn Wommack, Gracie Deters, and Delaney Feldmann all had multiple hits for Bowling Green. Feldmann, Deters, Wommack, and Turner each collected two hits to lead the Lady Cats. Bowling Green was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Lily Bowen made the most plays with seven.
