
BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — Press release from Stephen W. Korte with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office.
On Monday, June 28, 2021, 35 year old Patrick Robert White was arrested by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office for multiple offenses. At approximately 7:44 AM, a local Bowling Green rural resident contacted the Pike County Sheriff’s Office to report Patrick White was at her house and had admitted to her that he had taken their black 2019 Toyota and had slept in their camper over night. While speaking with the victim, Patrick White grabbed the keys to the victims 2014 Ford Edge and left. During this investigation, it was found that Patrick White had attempted to set fire to items within the camper causing little to no damage.
At approximately 1:35 PM, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Scotty’s Market located in Eolia, Missouri who reported a red vehicle had left without paying for $20.02 in fuel. The description and plate number matched the stolen vehicle from the Bowling Green area.
At approximately 1:58 PM, A Pike County Sheriff’s Deputy observed the stolen vehicle approaching Locust Street and Business Highway 61 in Bowling Green. A traffic stop was made and Patrick White was taken into custody without incident.
At approximately 2:08 PM, The Pike County Central Dispatch received a 911 call of a structure fire located at 2 Hickory Lane in Bowling Green. With the assistance of the Bowling Green Police, the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office along with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, through the course of this investigation, it was determined that Patrick White was living in a camper on the property.
At this time, Patrick Robert White is being charged with:
Tampering with a Motor Vehicle Class D Felony
Stealing a Motor Vehicle Class D Felony
Burglary 2nd Degree Class D Felony
Burglary 1st Degree Class B Felony
Atmp- Arson 2nd Degree Class E Felony
Driving While Suspended Class E Felony
Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Class D Misdemeanor
Arson – 2nd Degree Class D Felony
Stealing Class D Misdemeanor
Patrick White is currently held at the Pike County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
