BOWLING GREEN, Mo.– After a one-hour weather delay, the Bowling Green Bobcats battled the Hannibal Pirates for a 7 inning non-conference matchup. The Pirates pounced first, scoring three runs in the first and second inning. The Bobcats would come back to score a run in both the fourth and fifth inning, but they were unable to string together any late-inning run support. Hannibal tacked on another three runs late in the game, making the final 9-2. The Bobcats will be back in action on May 4, taking on Canton for a varsity competition only.
