BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — Meridian Waste’s Eagle Ridge Landfill of Bowling Green teamed up with the not-for-profit North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) and Save-A-Lot Food Stores to offer a brighter Thanksgiving holiday for disadvantaged residents of Pike County. Meridian donated 20 Thanksgiving dinners, which were distributed by NECAC to Pike County families in need. Each box contained a frozen turkey, stuffing, gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and other items to feed a family of four.
