BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — The annual Trunk or Treat, sponsored by the City of Bowling Green and the Park Board, will be held on Friday, Oct. 23, beginning at 5 pm, according to Erica Mitalovich, chairperson.
The committee, in conjunction with city officials, has made some changes to address traffic issues. One lane of each South St. Charles Street and Adams Street will be closed. Vehicles will enter the park via Adams Street to park or drop passengers off. Vehicles will exit the area via South St. Charles Street.
There will be volunteers on hand to help direct traffic as well as assist with lines and social distancing. In accordance with advice from the Pike County Health Department, all vendors and volunteers will be wearing masks, according to Mitalovich. Participants are encouraged to wear masks and maintain social distancing as well.
The Park Board and the City of Bowling Green encourage everyone to turn out for Trunk or Treat and to have a safe and happy Halloween.
