PIKE COUNTY, Ill. — Due to limited staffing related to COVID-19 pandemic, Pike County, Ill. Health Department doors will continue to be locked. Residents requiring services are asked to call the health department for an appointment. Clients will be instructed to call the health department upon arrival. They will then be asked to wait in the parking lot until called to allow for social distancing and to sanitize between clients. Clients will then be screened prior to entering the building and asked to wear a mask during their appointment.
Family Planning staff are now making appointments for annual exams. Immunizations are by appointment only. Women Infant Children services are available via curbside pickup. Communicable Disease reporting continues via phone. Vital Records requests continue via phone or email. Environmental Health services continue. Dental services remain suspended at this time and emergent services are being referred to other dental clinics.
Pike County Health Department is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
