LOUISIANA, Mo. – The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce banquet has been postponed due to the COVID-19 emergency.
Diana Huckstep, an organizer of the banquet, noted the annual celebration had to be postponed in compliance with guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). She added that a new date has not be set for when the banquet will be held.
The banquet had been slated for Wednesday, April 1 at the American Legion Hall on Kelly Lane. Huckstep pointed out that anyone who has already purchased tickets should just keep them as they will be honored when the banquet is rescheduled.
“Thank you for your support of the chamber and we look forward to moving forward once this extraordinary time has passed,” Huckstep stated. “Please keep focusing on supporting local businesses so we can return to a brighter future”
