LOUISIANA, Mo. – Reece Wommack earned first place for the third consecutive year in the Northeast District Elks National Foundation Hoop Shoot in Jefferson City.
The competition took place on Saturday, Jan. 4. Three area youths took part in the event. In addition to Wommack, Landyn Alexander and Ford Shealor also participated.
Wommack won first place in her division for the third year. She qualified to take part in the State Hoop Shoot that will be held on Feb. 8 in Kirkwood.
Improving over her performance in the Elks Hoop Shoot that took place in Louisiana, Wommack knocked down 20 of 25 baskets in the event on Jan. 4.
