The Louisiana Elks Lodge #791 awarded more than $15,000 in scholarship funds to 14 area graduating seniors.  Seniors receiving scholarships from Louisiana High School were: Derek Richards, the George Keith Scholar Athlete Scholarship; Autumn Castagna, the George Keith Elks Memorial Scholarship; Loni Michelle Watts, the Maurice "Moe" Mosele Scholarship; Maria Gutierrez, the George Trimble Memorial Scholarship; Brett Weimer, the George Trimble Memorial Scholarship; Spencer Butler, the George Trimble Memorial Scholarship; and Wyatt Lumley, the Louisiana Elks Lodge 791 Scholarship.  Graduating seniors at Clopton to receive scholarships:  Bethany Klopcic, the George Keith Elks Memorial Scholarship; Grace Cooke, the Bob Battern Elks Memorial Scholarship; Grace Cooke, the George Trimble Memorial Scholarship; Calynn Lockard, the George Keith Scholar Athlete Scholarship; Kaitlyn Kuntz, the George Keith Elks Memorial Scholarship; and Thomas Mattingly, the Bob Battern Elks Memorial Scholarship.  Additionally, George Keith Memorial Scholarships were awarded to Heather "Kaylee" Smith of Pleasant Hill High School and Kaylen Fisher of Bowling Green High School.  The Elks of Louisiana Lodge #791 have been presenting scholarships to local school for many years and are proud to be able to help our area youth in their continuing education.  Elks Care, Elks Share.
