The Louisiana Community Betterment Association will be presenting another SaveYour.Town video on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. The video showing will take place in the 1st floor conference room at Pike County Memorial Hospital.
“We had a small, but good turnout for the first video and some great ideas were passed around the room following the video,” stated Diana Huckstep, Chairperson for LCBA. “Our main purpose in presenting these videos is to get community participation in how the residents see our community as a thriving and welcoming town in the future,” stated Huckstep.
Small towns are making a great comeback all across Missouri as a result of the “Idea Friendly” suggestions that are a part of these videos. The LCBA is very excited about the content and is hoping to help make a difference in how residents perceive the Louisiana community.
“We are valuing the people who are here now and what we all want to create together. All of us have ways of doing things, culture and things to share. We all want a thriving town with a future for generations. We thrive by doing more business together. We have everything we need. Real courage is moving forward when the outcome is uncertain,” stated Diana Huckstep.
