Hardee’s, NECAC  and Heat Up St. Louis are teaming up for a good cause this Friday, Feb. 15. It’s the annual Rise & Shine fund-raiser from 6 to 10:30 a.m. At Hardees’s restaurants in Bowling Green and Louisiana, you’ll be able to buy a sausage or an egg biscuit for $1. That price has not changed since the program began 19 years ago.

All proceeds collected in Louisiana and Bowling Green will stay in Pike County to help disadvantaged residents with heating bills. In 2018, Pike County received $5,000 from Heat Up St. Louis, which covers more than 20 counties in Missouri and Illinois.In addition, NECAC Pike County Service Coordinator Chandra Roberts has information about utility assistance. There is still plenty of assistance funding available.
