On Thursday, January 24th, the Louisiana Elks Lodge recognized two Life Members with year pins for momentous anniversaries.  James Pitzer Sr. (elected to Life Membership in 2015) received his 55 year member pin and Robert "Bob" Kilby (elected to Life Membership in 2007) received his 65 year member pin.  Bob wore a 50 year old Elks Lodge vest from his memorabilia collection to the meeting.  Life Membership requirements at the Louisiana Lodge are 50 years of membership and attaining the age of at least 71.  The Lodge currently has 33 Life Members.
