The 12-county-area not-for-profit North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) recently held a reception at its Pike County Service Center in Bowling Green in recognition of the agency’s 53rd anniversary and the May observance of National Community Action Month. NECAC held a reception recently to highlight the May observance of National Community Action Month.
The agency administers social service, community health and public housing programs in 12 Missouri counties. It’s one of more than a thousand Community Action Agencies across the nation.
