A St. Louis company recently upgraded east side stained glass windows at Clarksville United Methodist Church. The work included adding Marilyn Crow’s name to the dedication previously painted for her husband, Walter. Proceeds from church dinners helped pay for the work. Walter and Marilyn Crow were longtime church members and Clarksville business owners. The east windows marked the 19 thousand dollar third phase of the church’s Save Our Stained Glass project. The campaign began in October 2014. Fund-raisers have included soup luncheons and fish dinners. In addition, generous donations have been received. The first phase covering the south windows was completed in 2016 and the second phase featuring the north glass was finished in 2017.
